Early Spring Visit

The early spring application is critical to the health and growth of your lawn, providing a foundation of nutrients and protection against weeds by applying a fertilizer coated with prodiamine. This forms a protective barrier at the soil surface, preventing germination of weed seeds, including crabgrass.

Late Spring Visit

The late spring visit reinforces weed prevention with a second application of prodiamine-coated fertilizer. This treatment also includes a targeted liquid application to eliminate any weeds that may have already sprouted.

Grub Control

This granular application, once watered in, penetrates the soil to protect turf roots by eliminating grubs as they being feeding. Think of it as an insurance policy for your lawn’s health.

Summer Visit

During the summer, we apply a slow-release organic fertilizer low in nitrogen. This type of fertilizer is specifically designed for the season’s environmental conditions, providing steady, gentle nourishment without stressing the turf.

Early Fall Visit

The early fall treatment combines weed control and fertilizer. As cool-season weeds emerge, this application prevents them from going to seed, reducing issues in the following year. The fertilizer promotes recovery and growth after summer stress.

Late Fall Visit

In late fall, we apply a fertilizer focused on enhancing root development. Strengthening the root system during this time prepares the lawn for winter and promotes improved tolerance and growth in the spring.

Additional Recommended Services Offered

Core aeration improves your lawn’s health by relieving soil compaction and allowing better airflow, water absorption, and nutrient penetration to the root zone. This process promotes stronger root growth and enhances the lawn’s ability to withstand stress.

Overseeding pairs seamlessly with core aeration. Seeds are sown directly into the aeration holes, which provide optimal conditions for germination. These holes help retain water and fertilizer, giving the new seeds a strong start.

Lime application balances soil pH, creating an optimal environment for grass to absorb nutrients effectively. It reduces soil acidity, promoting healthier root development and improving the overall resilience of your lawn.

Post-emergent treatments are recommended three times a year to target unwanted grasses such as Bermuda grass, goose grass, and nimblewill.

Flea and tick control eliminates harmful insects in your lawn while also protecting trees and shrubs. This treatment prevents pests from damaging foliage and creates a safer outdoor environment.

Tree and shrub applications, recommended three times annually, include fertilizers to promote growth and fungicides to prevent diseases. These treatments also manage harmful insects.

Complete Graphical Soil Analysis

A soil analysis reveals the pH of your soil, and nutrient levels in the soil, allowing us to know what fertilization or lime needs your lawn requires. Each soil analysis is comprised of 10 to 15 subsamples, taken from each area of interest at your site. These are mixed together and sent to the lab for analysis. The results, and our recommendations, are then sent to you. A soil analysis is inexpensive, and the results are yours to keep.
